Telsis is a European company with a global presence, supplying the world’s top telecoms companies with high-performance carrier grade solutions for advanced services. Customers include BT, Deutsche Telekom, KPN Telecom, One 2 One, Singapore Telecom, Telefónica, and Telia.

The company’s main product line is the Ocean range of programmable platforms which enables telecoms operators to quickly develop and implement advanced network services for competitive advantage.

Ocean comprises three key elements –a family of Ocean fastSSPs (Service Switching Points), the Ocean fastIP (Intelligent Peripheral) and the Ocean fastSCP (Service Control Point) – together with a powerful visual service creation environment and management system, the Ocean fastSCE. In addition, the Ocean fastTC (Transaction Converter) connects the telephony and data worlds of SS7 and TCP/IP.

Ocean elements can be deployed either stand-alone or in any combination within both fixed and mobile networks.

Telsis expertise covers many disciplines including design of hardware, complete software operating systems, applications languages, human factors, signalling schemes and digital signalling processing algorithms to perform speech and video coding and provide a wide range of interactive capabilities.
